Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and alcohol) for 3–5 days prior, unless medically necessary. Stay well hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment. Arrive with a clean face free of makeup, skincare, or sunscreen. Reschedule if you have active skin infections, cold sores, or are feeling unwell. Plan ahead for special events—allow 1–2 weeks for full results and healing.
Bring a valid photo ID, form of payment (card or cash if applicable), a list of current medications and supplements, and your medical history details including allergies, prior procedures, and medical conditions.
Cosmetic injectables are generally well tolerated. Most patients describe the sensation as a quick pinch or slight pressure. Numbing cream, ice, and gentle technique are used to keep you comfortable, and any discomfort is brief.
